These are super easy to make and work well for meal prep. I usually make 3-4 at a time and keep them in the fridge, and eat one as soon as I get home from the morning sessions at the gym. I do Intermittent Fasting so these are an easy way to start getting calories when my eating window opens.
What you need for each waffle:
1 Scoop of Chocolate Protein
1 Tablespoon Cacao
1 Tablespoons Sunflower Seeds (Optional)
I usually start by blending all of the ingredients together in my Vitamix. I have never been able to mash the bananas good enough, so blending them all together gives me a nice smooth batter. Next you just get out the ol’ waffle iron. I coat it with a little coconut oil so waffle doesn’t stick. I used to use the pancake method to cook them but I could never get it to flip without tearing them, so the waffle maker works better for me. Plus, who doesn’t like waffles? Enjoy!
