Road to Regionals 5/10/2014

So Before I dislocated my shoulder my goal was that I wanted to be in the top 100 in the NorCal Region for the CrossFit Games Open. I had only been doing CrossFit for a little over a year at that point, with no previous weight lifting experience, so when comparing my stats to others in that range, and with a few months more to do work, I was confident I could get close. Well then I got hurt during a snatch attempt at 205 so that ruined those plans. So instead of sulking over my missed opportunity, and now that I’m in the clear to resume normal workouts, I’m taking this time to rebuild from the bottom up and this time my goal is to make it to regionals in 2015.
I know that is a lofty goal, but I want to give it the best shot I can, and I figure that if I put it out there that regionals is my goal, I will be held responsible to give it my all. So I guess this is the start of a personal journal of how it goes, and I’m hoping it goes well!
